Hosting our wedding at Sleeping Lady directly supports the Icicle Fund, a nonprofit whose mission is to enhance the health and quality of all life in North Central Washington by engaging people with arts, history and the natural environment.
Sleeping Lady is now owned and operated by the Icicle Fund, a nonprofit umbrella group founded by philanthropist Harriet Bullitt in 1999, which allocates grants to six primary partner agencies — Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, Methow Arts Alliance, the Nature Conservancy, the Trust for Public Land and the Wenatchee River Institute — as well as other nonprofit grant applicants working in cultural and conservation fields in North Central Washington.
The Icicle Fund has supported over 100 nonprofit organizations with over $40 million. These nonprofits have conserved large areas of open space for the benefit of people and wildlife and have provided access to high quality arts experiences in this rural region.
